Syd Talks Being Starstruck Meeting Andre 3000, Going on a Bad Date at a Gun Range: Watch

Syd sat down with Billboard to play "First, Best, Last, Worst," revealing the first time she was starstruck, the worst date she's ever been on and more.

Asked to recall the first time she ever felt starstruck, Syd says that it was the moment she met André 3000 when she was a kid. Her neighbor, who was a casting director, held annual barbecues and invited actors and celebrities, and Syd recalls being "very nervous" when she met him.

The "All About Me" singer is also prompted to share what her best karaoke song to sing is, but she divulges that she has actually never done karaoke before, adding, "I'm nervous singing around people." If she ever were to sing karaoke, though, she says she'd probably sing something by Justin Bieber.

Syd also chats about the last album she listened to and loved, citing Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill, and she opens up about the worst date she ever went on, which involved going to a gun range.

"It's not her fault," Syd exclaims, describing the date. "It was my first time at a gun range – and hers – and it wasn't her fault it was the worst date ever. It was just the gun range. I learned that I don't like guns…I can shoot them, I don't like being in a room full of people with guns."
