These will trot off to Glasgow on Friday with the new Light Dragoons.

I am now back at work and Minime is refusing to go to sleep until later in the evening, so my ability to paint during the day and sculpt at night are being somewhat curtailed. Plus I have to contribute to the housework and evening meal, too. Honestly, you’d think being the house invalid would give me some perks, but no. Mind you, although my hobby is suffering I can at least rustle up a pretty good coleslaw.

Had a bit of a setback last week: I did some DIY and found my new lease of life doesn’t quite stretch to running between garage and conservatory sawing up MDF. Had to use my GTN spray and spent the next couple of days a tad discomforted. My GP told me that I should expect that and need to pace myself. I asked if that included helping in the kitchen and he said no. I think it’s a conspiracy.

Anyway, the Warlord Games Black Friday sale enabled me to invoke a delayed (from June) birthday present and stock up on AWI Militia at £12 a set. Thanks, Mum! I now have a Yankbox to complement my Frogbox. Lord knows when I’ll get around to any of it. Roll on Christmas leave....
