Declan Donnelly shared a sweet post to celebrate his fourth wedding anniversary to wife Ali Astall on Thursday.

The TV presenter, 43, and his stunning other half looked delighted in the throwback snap to their big day, as they cut into their wedding cake with glee.

But Dec marked the occasion in an even more touching fashion as he gushed that it was the happy couple's first anniversary with their 'beautiful baby girl' Isla. 

Ali looked ethereal in her gorgeous wedding gown, and her blonde locks were pulled back into a chic bun, while Dec looked dapper in his suit.

The happy couple held each other's hands as they cut into their tiered cake, and they couldn't stop smiling as they enjoyed their wonderful day.

In the touching caption, Dec wrote: 'I can’t believe this was 4 years ago today. It’s gone by so quickly. Thanks for all the lovely messages. We’re having a lovely anniversary, our first with our beautiful baby girl D&A x'

Meanwhile, Dec recently admitted that he didn't quite realise how tough parenthood was going to be as he balances work and being a dad to daughter Isla, 11 months.

Talking to The Evening Standard he said: 'No one tells you how hard being a parent is! We could have had a warning! It is literally the hardest thing I've ever done but I’m loving it.'

Dec and Ali had wanted to be parents for a long time and his best friend and co-star Ant McPartlin revealed how much Isla means to them.

He told The Sun last year: 'She's beautiful little thing. I'm thrilled for the pair of them.

'They've wanted to be parents for a long time. The whole world of showbiz was overjoyed for them. I know how much it means to him.'

Dec and Ali welcomed their first child on September 1, last year. He and Ali married in 2015.

They announced the arrival of their baby on social media, sharing a sweet image of Dec holding hands with his baby.

He wrote: 'Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o’clock this morning.'
